Vinted Users Share Frustration About Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes without notifying every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The company said the revised method more closely matches similar services.
They have suggested members to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: earlier, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
