“The standard we had at times was exceptionally high. This is the reality. I could not speak so positively if it was untrue. But that’s why, regarding outcomes, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. For that reason I feel we are really close to a shift in fortunes. But for the moment: the fine margins.”

“We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, as was the case today. The issue now comes down to sustaining it. My narrative would change if I didn't believe it. This is why I am convinced the team can to turn things around.”

Röhl’s Cautious Response

Danny Röhl refused to contemplate a serious challenge even after what appeared to be a statement victory. “One match at a time, and we can gradually build momentum,” he said. “The belief in the group is outstanding.”
