The Gunners' boss feels assured that his side can persist in handling with player absences following revealing that forward Kai Havertz will not return for several more weeks.

Prolonged Recovery for Havertz

Havertz has been absent since the summer after undergoing an operation on his knee. Initially expected to come back at the start of this month, Arteta explained the player encountered a problem when stepping up his rehabilitation and could not progress “the required stage.”

When asked if a larger pool of players was benefiting their league challenge, his response was positive. “Yes, as this campaign has presented greater challenges in certain positions, and now the situation with the defence,” he added.
